Rabbi Daniel Epstein is the Senior Jewish Educator for Hillel at George Washington University. He graduated from Queens College with a degree in political philosophy and received ordination from YCT Rabbinical School. Daniel served as the rabbinic intern at the Mount Freedom Jewish Center in Randolph, New Jersey, and at the Hofstra University Hillel in Hempstead, New York. A UJA-Federation of New York Seymour Siegel Fellow, Daniel has taught in many venues, including schools, camps, shuls, hospitals, and nursing homes. In 2015, Daniel launched a weekly community learning initiative in Queens. The many participants included college professors, lawyers, single parents, and young professionals. He also maintains a regular parasha blog on his website, danstorah.com.
