Vivien Hidary has been teaching Torah in the Brooklyn community for over 25 years at various institutions including Allegra Franco Sephardic Women’s Teachers College, Congregation Beth Torah, B’nei Yitzhak Synagogue, and the Brighton Beach Jewish Center. In affiliation with the Sephardic Community Alliance she gives summer classes at Congregation Magen David of West Deal. Her approach to understanding Biblical narrative is organic; primarily focusing on word choice, patterns and structure analysis, to maintain the Torah’s current relevance.
