Mitchell First is an attorney who has an M.A. in Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of YU. He has published articles on Jewish history and liturgy in publications such as Biblical Archaeology Review, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, Hakirah, and AJS Review. His most recent book is: Esther Unmasked: Solving Eleven Mysteries of the Jewish Holidays and Liturgy. His first book was Jewish History in Conflict: A Study of the Major Discrepancy Between Rabbinic and Conventional Chronology.
